Every year there is a competition run alongside the Scottish Collie Club. This operates on a points system for the Ayrshire & Scottish Collie Clubs' Open and Championship Shows throughout the year. Trophies are presented at alternate Annual General Meetings.
Trophies are awarded for the following:
Rough Collie of the Year
Rough Collie Puppy of the Year
Rough Collie Kennel of the Year
Rough Collie Progeny of the Year

Annual points Competition
Rules:
All owners and dogs must reside in Scotland (except progeny of the year).
Owners must be a member of either club (except progeny of the year).
To qualify for Progeny of the Year, the dog and/or owner need not reside in Scotland, however, the dog
must have been bred in Scotland and the must be resident in Scotland.
No separate entry is required other than as a winning exhibit at any of either club's shows.
Both Clubs will appoint an adjudicator who will appraise results from officially marked catalogues and
liaise after the six shows run by the clubs.
Puppy of the Year - Awards must be gained in Minor Puppy or Puppy Classes.
Kennel of the Year - Dogs must be owned and exhibited by the kennel.
Progeny of the Year - Breeder must be a member of either club.
In the event of a dog being awarded RBIS also being BOS only the higher of the two allocations apply.
In the event of a trophy not being taken by the winning owner, there will be NO runner up.
Qualifying Classes: All Classes.
